This Privacy Policy explains how Dazlight (“we”, “us”) collects and uses information when you visit or use our website at dazlight.com (the “Website”).

It covers browsing the site, submitting a support message, and sending an app idea. It does not cover how our mobile apps store data on your device. Each app has its own privacy policy — for Shiftwise, see the Shiftwise Privacy Policy.

By using the Website, you agree to this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the forms or continue browsing beyond what local law allows.

1. Who we are

Dazlight is an independent studio that builds focused mobile apps. For privacy questions about this Website, contact us at info@dazlight.com.

2. What this policy covers

This policy applies to:

• pages on dazlight.com (including product pages, support, terms, and this policy);
• the support form and idea form on the Website;
• emails you send us at our published contact addresses;
• basic analytics about how the Website is used.

3. Information we collect

3.1 Information you send us

If you use a form on the Website, we collect what you choose to submit:

• Support form: name, email address, and your message.
• Idea form: name, email address, and your idea description.

If you email us directly, we receive your email address and the content of your message (and any attachments you include).

We do not ask for a password or payment details through these forms. A hidden “website” field may appear in forms only as a spam check; we do not store it as part of your submission when it is empty (as intended for real people).

3.2 Information collected automatically

When you visit the Website, we may collect limited technical and usage information through Google Analytics (Firebase Analytics), such as:

• pages viewed and approximate time on site;
• general device and browser information;
• approximate location derived from IP address (city/region level, not your street address);
• referral source (for example, how you arrived at the site);
• clicks on links we track (for example, links to Google Play).

We use this to understand which pages are useful and to improve the Website. We do not use analytics to build advertising profiles or to sell your data.

3.3 What we do not collect on the Website

We do not create a user account for browsing the site. We do not run ads on the Website. We do not sell your personal information.

4. How we use information

We use the information above to:

• reply to support requests;
• read and consider app ideas you submit;
• operate, secure, and improve the Website;
• understand basic traffic and which product pages people open;
• comply with law if we are required to.

Submitting an idea does not create a contract. We may use ideas freely as described in our Terms and Conditions, without an obligation to build the idea, credit you, or pay you — unless we agree otherwise in writing.

5. Where information is stored

Form submissions are stored in Google Firebase / Cloud Firestore, hosted by Google. Analytics events are processed by Google Analytics / Firebase Analytics.

Those services may process data in data centers outside your country (including the United States and the European Union), under Google’s terms and safeguards. We also operate from Ukraine and may read your messages there when answering support or reviewing ideas.

6. Sharing of information

We do not sell your personal information.

We may share information only:

• with service providers that host or process data for us (currently Google Firebase / Analytics), under their privacy terms;
• if required by law, regulation, or a valid legal request;
• to protect the security of the Website or our rights;
• with your direction (for example, if you ask us to follow up with someone else).

7. How long we keep information

We keep support messages and idea submissions only as long as needed to handle your request, review ideas, and meet basic operational or legal needs. When we no longer need a submission, we delete or minimize it.

Analytics data is retained according to our Google Analytics / Firebase settings and Google’s retention options.

8. Your choices and rights

You can:

• choose not to use the forms or email us;
• ask us what personal information we hold from your Website contact (for example a support email or form), and ask us to correct or delete it where practical;
• use browser settings to limit cookies or tracking where available (note that some analytics may still operate depending on your browser and region settings).

To make a request, email info@dazlight.com from the address you used when contacting us, so we can match the request. Depending on where you live, local law may give you additional rights (for example under GDPR if you are in the EEA/UK). We will respond in line with applicable law.

9. Children’s privacy

The Website is not directed at children under 13 (or the higher age required in your country). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children through the Website. If you believe a child has submitted information, contact us and we will delete it.

10. Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures (including hosting with a major provider and create-only access rules for form collections). No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure. Please do not send sensitive secrets (passwords, payment card numbers, government IDs) through the forms.

11. Third-party links

The Website may link to third parties such as Google Play. Their privacy practices are their own. This policy does not cover those services.

12. Our apps

13. Changes to this Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the updated version on this page and change the “Last updated” date. Where required, we may provide additional notice.

Continued use of the Website after changes take effect means you accept the updated Policy, to the extent permitted by law.
