This Privacy Policy explains how Dazlight (“we”, “us”) handles information in connection with the Vestly: Equity Tracker mobile application (the “App”).
Vestly keeps grants, notes and saved estimates on your device without a Vestly account. Optional subscriptions and requested market quotes use service providers as described below. We do not run advertising or third-party product analytics trackers inside the App.
By using the App, you agree to this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.

When you use Vestly, you may enter information such as:
This information is stored locally on your Device. We do not operate an account system that uploads this content to Dazlight servers as part of normal App use.
You can export a JSON backup file and choose where to save or share it. The destination, including any cloud storage you select, is controlled by your device's sharing options. If you uninstall the App, clear App data, or reset your Device without a backup, local information may be permanently deleted.
In normal use, Vestly does not collect:
If you enable reminders or notifications, your Device’s operating system may deliver them locally based on settings you choose in the App. We do not need a Dazlight account for that.
Your device's operating system or app store may provide crash or diagnostic reports for maintenance and bug fixing. They are not used for advertising.
Vestly also records a bounded history of categorical usage steps and generic errors on your device for troubleshooting, with a maximum of 1,000 events retained for 90 days. These records do not contain company names, tickers, equity amounts, vesting dates, salary, tax inputs or notes. Nothing is automatically sent to Dazlight or an analytics service. You can disable and clear local diagnostics in Settings. If you choose to share an aggregate report using the system share sheet, it goes to the destination you select. Counts of successful subscription responses can include trials or restored access and do not establish paid revenue.
If you email us or use a support form on our website, we will receive the information you send (for example your email address and message) so we can respond. We keep that correspondence only as needed to help you and run our support.
Google Play or the Apple App Store processes store purchases. Vestly uses RevenueCat to validate subscription access and manage subscription status. RevenueCat processes purchase history, subscription status and an app installation identifier, including for subscription performance reporting. Vestly does not send your equity grants, salary, tax inputs or notes to RevenueCat, and does not require a Vestly account. Store platforms and RevenueCat have their own privacy practices. Contact info@dazlight.com with questions about subscription data or a deletion request; purchase records may be subject to applicable store and audit requirements.
When you enter a public ticker, Vestly requests quotes and, for past vest estimates, daily closes from its price proxy hosted on Cloudflare. Requests contain ticker symbols and requested calendar dates. They do not contain your grant size, tax settings, notes or a Vestly account identity. The service and its infrastructure receive ordinary connection metadata such as IP addresses. Market prices and historical closes are estimates, not official broker fair market value. Cached prices are kept on your device so known information can remain available offline.
On-device App data is used by the App on your Device to provide equity tracking features you request.
Support messages are used only to respond to you and improve support quality.
Crash reports, if available to us, are used for maintenance and bug fixing. Local diagnostic records stay on your device until you explicitly choose to share an aggregate report.
Subscription information is used to validate access, support purchases and understand subscription performance. Ticker and date requests are used to provide requested market estimates.
We do not use App content for advertising, and we do not sell Personal Data.
We do not share your on-device Vestly grants, notes or tax inputs with advertisers or data brokers. RevenueCat and market-price infrastructure are service providers for the functions described above; they do not receive your local grant details or tax inputs from Vestly. Backups are JSON files created and shared only at your request; their destination and any resulting cloud storage depend on the system share option you choose.
We may disclose information only if:
App distribution platforms (such as Google Play) have their own privacy practices for store accounts, downloads, and reviews. Those are controlled by the platform, not by Vestly’s in-app data storage.
Information stored in the App remains on your device until you delete it, clear App data, or uninstall the App. Local diagnostic records are limited to 1,000 events and 90 days, and are cleared when you disable the feature. Saved equity and tax-planning estimates remain local until you remove them or the App data. Subscription records handled by store platforms and RevenueCat follow their respective retention requirements.
Support emails or form submissions we receive are kept only as long as needed to handle your request and meet basic operational or legal needs, then deleted or minimized when no longer required.
Vestly does not automatically upload your local grants, notes or tax inputs. Requested market prices and subscription services can process the limited request and purchase information described above on infrastructure outside your country.
If you contact us, your message may be processed where we operate (including Ukraine) or where our email/support tools are hosted. We take reasonable steps to handle that information securely.

Depending on where you live (for example under GDPR or similar laws), you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict certain Personal Data we hold about you (typically support correspondence), and to object to certain processing. To exercise these rights, email info@dazlight.com.
We may need to verify your request and may decline requests where the law allows (for example if we do not hold the data, or retention is legally required).
We design Vestly so your equity data stays on your Device. No method of electronic storage is perfectly secure. Protect your Device with a passcode or biometrics and keep your system updated.
The App is not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect Personal Data from children under 16. If you believe a child has provided Personal Data to us through support channels, contact us and we will take appropriate steps.
The App or our website may link to third-party sites or stores (for example Google Play). Their privacy practices are their own. We recommend reading their policies.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the updated version on this page and change the “Last updated” date. Where required, we may provide additional notice.
Continued use of the App after changes take effect means you accept the updated Policy.
